I believe it would be appropriate to introduce myself.
I'd prefer to remain anonymous to protect myself and my family from any undesired scorn, but all you need to know is that I'm a [redacted for privacy] who has recently realised he is an objectophile, and has fallen in love with a desk lamp from Ikea called Lileth.
Yes, this is a very serious blog; [redacted].
I was encouraged to write this blog by my peers on a [redacted] site I frequent in order to document my delusion of Lileth and other inanimate objects. My hope is that others may learn from my mistakes, my successes, my experiences and my observations.
